The “Corporal E,” a surface-guided missile, has been developed as a research instrument by the U.S. Army Ordnance. The “Corporal E” is the fourth missile of a series of different types developed under Army supervision. It is a companion development of the “Nike,” which was the first guided missile of any type designed and built wholly in the United States. 19 Sept. 1951.
