NATIVES MAKE CONTRIBUTION TO ATOM BOMB TESTS, TRANSFER FROM BIKINI TO RONGERIK ATOLL—As their contribution to the success of peacetime atomic bomb tests—the first against Naval targets—the natives of Bikini Atoll, in the Marshall Islands, have moved to a new home on Rongerik Atoll—some 150 miles away. The new atoll previously had been explored by Chief Juda and the 11 heads of families who compose his council. A SeaBee construction party is speeding construction of a model village of the Pacific.
