General News Bureau
- The General News Bureau was an American press service operating in the mid-20th century. Little public documentation exists about its complete operations, but the bureau was known for distributing syndicated news articles and photographs to newspapers and magazines across the United States. It often covered general interest topics, including political events, science, and human-interest stories. Its photographic output includes black-and-white press prints and wirephotos, some of which document Cold War–era political figures, military tests, and technological advancements.
