Photograph showing fish marking technique conducted as part of a marine life survey prior to atomic bomb testing at Bikini Atoll. Fish are cut open to determine species, with a slip of paper inserted into the mouth stating where caught, day, time, and sex. The fish is then frozen for later comparison after similar fish are collected following the bomb tests. This is the third image in a five-photo series.
